Where Nature, Peace, and Story Become Paintings
I'm Renee Dumont

Contemporary Impressionist Painter of Floral Landscapes
I fell in love with painting long before I entered elementary school and began my professional art journey at age twenty. Creating has always been my first passion — a lifelong way of exploring the beauty, joy, peace, and quiet strength woven through everyday life.
Today, I paint from my little stone cottage along the lakeshore, where gardens bloom, birds gather, and light shifts gently across the sparkling water. Living so close to nature continually inspires me to observe more deeply and to translate those moments into color, atmosphere, and feeling.
My work is rooted in a love for God’s creation and the belief that beauty can restore, uplift, and remind us of what matters most. Through each brushstroke, I hope to evoke reflection, emotional connection, and a sense of peace within the spaces where my paintings live.
I am especially drawn to flowers and birds — symbols of grace, resilience, renewal, and joy. Tending my own lakeside garden and watching the seasons unfold has deeply shaped my floral collections, including meaningful birth flower and symbolic nature-inspired works.
I continue to explore new palettes, paints, and surfaces with excitement — always searching for fresh ways to tell the story of our love for life, beauty, and hope.
Each painting is created to be more than decoration — it is meant to become a lasting presence of meaning, warmth, and elegance in the home that commission it.
